How To: Pineapple Short Natural Hair

**Subscribe for more GirlwithKinks Weekly!** This is a super quick tutorial on how I prolong my hairstyles with a short hair pineappling method. If you have short natural hair or even mid length, pineappling your hair into two puffs instead of one, keeps your roots stretched and your hair fresh. Some would refer to this as the mini pineapple(s). When I pineapple my short natural hair with this method I do not have to retwist my twist outs or other styles. It will dramatically shorten your nighttime routine. Check out how I achieve this below. . . Thanks for tuning in! The Best Lemon Sugar Scrub

DIY Lemon Sugar Scrub

My Skin has been yearning for some care, between school, work, husband and child, sometimes I don't take the time to make sure my ankles are not ashy-- or my whole body for that matter. I have been shying away from purchasing heavy chemical laden household products from the store, and instead have been making my own. So in my search for luxurious body care for the poor man's price I came across Sugar Scrubs. In lieu of buying a ten dollar jar of sugar, I put my own spin on a popular body scrub.

Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup of Grapeseed Oil
  • 1 Whole Lemon (Juiced)

This recipe yields about a 8oz worth of Lemon Sugar Scrub. I used white sugar and Grapeseed Oil because it has great moisturizing properties for hair, skin, and nails-- it's also odorless, so the wonderful scent of lemon is strong. Who knew living luxe could be so easy.

This Lemon Sugar Scrub is Amazing! I love it because it works great AND it's super cheap to make. Your hands will feel like silk after using. I recommend following up with a moisturizer to seal in all of the moisture. Get your skin Spring and Summer time ready!

Check out my video of making the Scrub below:

This Lemon Sugar Scrub is great for getting your skin moist and ready for the Spring and Summer. Thumbs Up for Smooth Skin!

Ingredients: 1 Cup of Sugar, 1/4 cup of Grapeseed Oil, 1 Whole Lemon. This recipe yields about 8 oz of Body Scrub.

The scrub can be used all over your body-- my preference is hands, lips, knees and elbows. I also use Sugar Scrubs to help control eczema breakouts. This Lemon Sugar Scrub is a great DIY home remedy, and it serves so many purposes. Enjoy!
